We’re excited to be part of Butte County Museum Weekend!

Saturday February 28, 2026 & Sunday March 1, 2026 from 10am-4pm

Join us at the Chico Children’s Museum for special FREE 20-minute play sessions so families in our community can explore and experience all the hands-on fun our museum has to offer!

How it works at CCM:
• Free 20-minute sessions
• Available to the first 30 children every 30 minutes (adults can join child for free)
• After your session, you may pay to play and stay longer

Waivers are required for all minors attending — whether for Museum Weekend or regular all-day play. Save time and complete your waiver before you arrive Members are welcome to attend all weekend using their memberships 

We kindly ask that Museum Weekend guests exit the building promptly once their free 20-minute session ends to allow space for the next families.

Adults without children are able to access a staff guided tour through the museum to see our exhibit spaces.

We can’t wait to welcome you for a weekend of curiosity, creativity, and community. We also hope you stop into all the other wonderful museums who are also participating in Museum Weekend.
