FIELD TRIPS

Bring your class to Chico Children’s Museum for a Fun and Unique HANDS ON Field Trip experience!

Public Field Trips

• Days Available: Wednesdays & Thursdays

• Session Time: 9:30 AM – 11:30 AM

• Group Size: Minimum of 12 paid for admissions required

• Admission Rate: $8 per child

• Adult-to-Child Ratio: 1 adult per 5 children (required) / 2 chaperones included per 1 child admission

• Add-On Admission: Additional guests may be added for $8 each

• ​Add-On Celebration Room: Add the use of our celebration room for the duration of your field trip to have a snack or planned activity - $150 

• Payment Policy: Payment is due before the field trip or no later than the day of the visit

Private Field Trips

• Days Available: Tuesdays

• Session Time: 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM

• Group Size: Up to 60 guests

• Adult-to-Child Ratio: 1 adult per 5 children (required)

• Admission Rate: $300 for up to 60 guests (children and chaperones included in headcount)

• Add-On Admission: Additional guests may be added in groups of 10 for $50 per group

• Add-On Celebration Room: Add the use of our celebration room for the duration of your field trip to have a snack or planned activity - $150 

• Payment Policy: Payment is due before the field trip or no later than the day of the visit

Field Trip Responsibility & Waiver Requirement

All participating children must have a signed school-required waiver or consent form to attend the field trip, in accordance with the school or organization’s policies.

During field trips, supervision and responsibility for students remains with the school, organization, teachers, and chaperones at all times. Chico Children’s Museum staff do not provide individual child supervision.

All students must be accompanied by teachers and/or adult chaperones, and appropriate adult-to-child ratios must be maintained throughout the visit.
