During Your Visit…
Welcome to Chico Children's Museum. We are here to offer an opportunity to 'learn and connect through play. CCM is a space for children and their supervising grown-up to interact with exhibits and each other.
(CCM is not is a staff-supervised playland Nor a drop-off zone.)
To make everyone's experience more enjoyable, please:
Regardless of age, children are to be supervised at all times.
(In a grown-up's absence, we have adorable puppies, at-the-ready, to be adopted out to unsupervised children.)
No food or drink allowed in, or stored within, the museum.
(Ant, cockroach and rodent infestation is SUPER-fun to deal with...said no one ever!)
CCM requests that children refrain from chewing gum during their visit.
(Happy mouths drop gum and cleaning up chewed gum ruins exhibits and is 'Grody to the MAX'!)
Shoes worn at all times, unless specified in certain spaces.
("This Little Piggy" isn't fun when toes are bruised...ouchy!)
Cell phones, camera-mode excepted, inhibit interaction with your child...Please turn cell phones to 'Silent-mode' or to 'Off-and-away'-AWESOME!”
(Your memories will thank you for shared moments. As grandma said about raising kids, 'The days are long, but the years go fast!')
